Inspired by vintage French China jackets, this piece combines traditional China jacket details with the distinctive patch pockets found in classic French workwear.

The silhouette is based on a vintage American coverall, balancing the ease of workwear with a strong, distinctive presence. The fabric is 100% linen with a sumi ink coating, which gradually fades and develops a unique character with wear.

Bringing together design elements and materials from different origins, the jacket is reinterpreted through WASEW’s own perspective.
